Minus missing a few version variations (Evil Night vs Hell Night, just a title swap) and a few bug fix/ different region discs, today I finally received the last Konami M2 disc in the mail.

Took me about eleven years to find them all! I’ll keep looking for the variations but really I don’t need to find them to consider it a complete set, as I only set out to have all five games on original discs.

Now I need to get some custom art made for some...

The 3DO CH Flightstick Pro has the appropriate amount of buttons to be able to get out of the cockpit view of the car in IMSA and allow you to cycle through all the available camera views.

I have one Hell Night PCB on the newer (636a01) BIOS file, and that can run Battle Tryst and Heat of Eleven 98 fine once the ISO’s are patched.

I have two Polystars PCB’s but I know those only run Polystars due to the halving of installed RAM.

I’ve tried all versions of Total Vice, as word on the “streets” haha is some versions run via the newer bios (vs 623b01) but...

As the name says, this tool allows reading discs (real and iso images) formatted with the Opera filesystem, which is the filesystem used for 3DO and 3DO M2 discs. It's a bit primitive and slow because I wrote it solely for myself. Though it's still more advanced than the 2 other tools for reading 3DO discs. Should run on any version of Windows.

Since I started collecting M2 stuff, my end goal was to be able to produce a series of videos on M2 itself. After years of cobbling together the hardware and software, today I am launching a new channel, "Video Game Esoterica".

The channel isn't exclusively devoted to M2, but will focus on lesser known hardware, games, betas, etc etc. Basically whatever I find interesting haha. The first "season" of episodes will be focused on M2 though (Konami arcade games, kiosk stuff, Cirrus M2...
