Anywho has anyone noticed a decline in ps4 kiosks in stores lately?
Just recently in my small area ive been seeing ps4 and xbox one kiosks
leaving stores like best buy and etc.

I think its in response of stores gearing up for the big sale push for ps4 pro vs xbox one x.

Last thought or question that comes to mind..

Not to long ago i was able to get my hands on two kiosk units.
One with a controller plus dummy console
One with current firmware but no items on harddrive.

Im curious if anyone can help me find any info on ps4 kiosk units or history behind, because i would like cover these unique items on my youtube channel with a video series.

I've received a DUH-T1000AA today, it is in 1.76 update.
According to psdevwiki this is a 2nd generation of non retail PS4.

And I have found PS4UPDATE-testkit-GEN3-3_508_041.PUP on the internet and I was wondering if I can install it on my PS4 because this update is for GEN3 and I only have a GEN2.

I have one of these units that I picked up recently and I've been playing with it. To continue what gamecubecat was discussing mine HAS the 1.76 firmware and when I try to run apps and such it doesn't ask me to update firmware it just gives an error code.

I noticed online that all the videos of people showing these units are using the controller plugged in...
