From what I gather the method to dump the ROM is using the Retrocade which is pretty much always out of stock and last time it was back in stock I missed the chance to get one - mind you it's not a cheap device to buy on the whim.
If someone knows other way to dump I'd love to find out. (no I can't send away the cartridge since it's reserved already)...

Can anybody help me to make sense of some snes Eprom data?

I have 5 single Eproms here - 3 of them are "unidentified" as they have no writing on them.
So i bought a TL866 and tried to read the Eproms.
In the software i selected a M27C4001 @ DIP32 EPROM and i was able to read the data.
I had to uncheck "Check ID" otherwise i was not able to read them, as you can see on the screenshot.

So i read the Eproms all the same way and saved the .bin files.
One of them is labeled "Ghoul...

But with this cartridge I got the rom but the selection menu does not work (only one of the rom games works)
Looking at the rom obtained with hexadecimal editor, I could see that all the games are inside (what works is the first one inside the hexadecimal).

Is there any specific way to get the roms of this type of cartridge?

I would need the help of a Prototype-Hardware Expert...

I recently got another stack of Prototypes.
With them, there is one small box with Eproms inside.

First, the SNES Prototype is not recognized by my Retrode.
The game should be Pretty Fighter (as written on the eproms)
Do you have any idea how to get it working? Maybere there is one Eprom Missing? Is there any way to figure that out?

Second, as seen on the Photo, one Eprom is "Ghoul Patrol".
Can i use the Pretty Fighter...

As I understand it (and I could have this wrong), a group called "Game.commies" dumped most every Game.com title known so far some years ago. However, I may soon be in a position to handle some titles that didn't make it to retail, and I'd like to be prepared to dump them should the situation arise.

Thanks for any tips or contacts you can offer!

It's running super old software. (Early 2007 software, no sys menu installed)

Can I hook it up to the latest SDK software and just dump, or do I need to update the unit first?
Will updating the system erase the games?

I have the SDK from that other thread, but don't want to mess anything up by connecting before I know the risks.]]>

If you've ever tried to read alpha/beta/prototype game data from Microsoft Confidential burnlab discs to no avail, instead of the data being corrupt, chances are, the disc has a gold alloy layer (instead of silver) and you're trying to read it from a DVD or Blu-ray drive.

The problem has to do with the reflectivity of the gold...
