- Freelance Japanese-English Game Translator
I'm a Japanese-English freelance translator who works in video game localization. I can't always talk about what all I've actually worked on because of legal obligations, but you can take a look at my work website here to see what I'm publicly credited on.
When I'm not taking Japanese games and making them readable for you in English, I run two game blogs. On Demoban, I dump and upload old Japanese demo discs and the occasional cartridge for preservation. I'm interested in most any and all Japanese demos, whether they came from magazines, store discs, what have you. Guest submissions are very welcome and will of course be credited when I post them to the site; feel free to contact me here or via the email address provided on my work site.
Beyond that, I also run the Atlus Atlas, a blog dedicated to documenting and translating ephemeral bits of Atlus history. While mostly focused on translating articles and interviews, the occasional game dump appears, too, when I come across Atlus works that are significantly rarer than usual. I also sometimes run posts about long lost debug modes you can find in Atlus games such as Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and Persona 4.
