Hey gang, So I was looking over the game "バザールでござーるのゲームでござーる" (Bazaaru de Gozaaru no Geemu de Gozaaru) and I was wondering what other peoples opinion on it were? Being that it's a very expensive title, I haven't plunked down any money for it yet, but I was hoping to hear from others who may already have it. Mostly, I'm interested in finding out if it's a good title or not. For example, Sapphire seems alright but not $300+ alright. Any thoughts or reviews?
As puzzle games go it's fun, quirky, amusing, charming. I'm sure you know the concept of the game. It's quite short iirc, not too taxing to clear, but with replay value in trying different routes etc. Probably not worth the sort of money it goes for, as a game, but are any games at that price. As a NEC item, it's lovely. If you're really getting into PCE you almost have to get it, and it makes a refreshing change from the PCE's mainstays. It's just a 'nice' game all over tbh.
Hrm... I know it's a puzzle game, but what is it like? Is it like Lemmings where you guide someone to a 'goal'? And you uses tools and gadgets to get there?
Pretty much, but whereas in Lemmings you can input commands / make changes on the fly, in this you can't. You get to see the level ahead at the start and you have to plan your characters route through it, navigating obstacles etc. All the planning is inputted before you start and then you sit back and watch him get on with it (although you have a little control during each run on CMS). It's a must have imho. There is no game out there like this one. And also it has a special charm, which I have rarely seen in any other existing game. Also bazzy () has a big following as you can see on the picture below
I have only played a burnt copy of it, and I gotta say it is definitely a unique game. After I tested it out I stopped playing and I as well am searching for this title on my pc engine list lol. It will take awhile to find a copy for at least a decent price, however, some day I hope to own it. Good Luck trying to get your own copy mate
