From experience I know riding on the road here isn't really the smartest thing to do. I wasn't taking any chances. ;p

If you know how to work it, it's bicycle heaven. Yeah, cars are dicks, but you get used to it. Weaving in and out of people is socially acceptable, whereas in the west you will get beaten with a stick for such behavior.

Well, she probably deserved it for some reason or other.

 

word.. i love to ride my bicycle here. especially where i live (yokohama, midori-ku). there are thousands of short cuts and nice roads to go with the "bio two-wheeler" only.
