That's the ultimate source of envy PS2 hardware wise. Perhaps if you sent one of these to Square-Enix they could fix the PS2 version of Final Fantasy XI properly ... (lol)

 

I would not be surprised if less than 100 of these were ever made.

 

What was it about with that blue TOOL again? I reckon it had more RAM or something?

 

Basically it's a PS2 TOOL with a logic analyzer built in. It can profile how busy each component of the system is and is used for game engine optimizing.

 

Never seen such great pictures of the blue PS2 tool before - thanks for sharing, Dano! What a good looking unit!
