    Hey Guys.

I have one of these 10 million special edition Midnight blue psx's. Thing is its a PAL model, and i cant find any information about the PAL models. Can anyone prive any information about the unit, its history etc.. Also does anyone know a recent market price for it? I picked it up years ago, and wondering if its time to let it go to a new home.

    Any help is appreciated.

I doubt a PAL unit will get close to what the NTSC version sells for but I could be wrong. If its boxed you should still be able to get $500 or so I would think. I wouldn't sell it for $90 thats for sure.

    It's very rare - if i remember right it's limited to 150pc.

  7. It's limited to 100 pieces in each territory.

The last FULL NTSC system sold for $1,500 USD, before that BuyAtari got one for $1,200 USD. (Complete with box and all) An unopened NTSC system will fetch $2,000 USD. (Assembler, you have an unopened one???)

The last non-full NTSC system went for $725. (Just unit and controller)

If you want to part with your PAL system, let me know.

I got ripped off on ebay, I never saw the $1500 again.

I would urge extreme caution in anything over $500.

  11. What do you mean you got ripped off? You paid but it was never sent? I know who sold the system for $1500 (was outside of ebay).

Use paypal for anything over $500. I can't wait till ebay USA goes paypal only. Maybe they'll lower the paypal fees. I just got screwed on a new xbox samsung drive $50 using a postal MO. Now I have to see how to the hell to get it back.

Like I said, I never saw the $1500 again. The person was also selling things like tickets to a concert. He never sent those to the other guy either.

  14. I'm not disputing that it's new, but is it 100% new if it has been opened and taken out?

Anyhow, here's what I bought myself for Christmas:

Here is the bundle I got (notice the Merry X-mas on the red strip):

Open the bundle to reveal something wrapped in a PS bag:

I opened the wrapping and see a NTSC US 10 Million Model PSX!

This makes two NTSC US 10 Million PSXs now! Ok, so it cost me a lot. But I love the silky feel.

Then a pic of my most recent proto which took me since October 2004 to finally receive. Poor quality pic courtesy of Kodak (the screen is showing a dragon's face with red eyes):

well , in my opinion it is new as long as it hasn`t been used.

the systems aren`t sealed at release , how would you tell that it is new anyway ?

btw , a very nice gift , enjoy it :)

That's a bit too steep for my budget. How about 700 ?
