No, it's a board with loads of arcade games on ROM. I'm betting they're using an embedded hack of MAME or something, with more obvious output ports than a PC would have. Not used one anyway, sorry. Have you got an ebay link Assembler? Just had a quick search, couldn't find one.
They are a mini pc basically with a big hdd built in, Jamma native so worls in cabs/superguns. $999 or something aren't they? for that sort of cash I would get a bulk of real boards myself.
oh....i know which one.... i have see in china before it useing linux system pcb os is buil in rom, game data useing ide->CF .
If I'd stopped to think for more than 1.5 seconds before typing I would have realised that having 1000 arcade games on ROM would be really dumb and expensive. Ah well.
I found and posted a red PCB 300 game in one here. They were being sold on eBay but someone realized that they're illegit, I think it's a fine idea if it can be upgraded (and legal
I just got a "Gambox" 400 IN 1 today, and hell if I can get it working. Certainly not as simple as plug into your jamma and go. There are all sorts of dip switches and systen buttons on the board. I can get to a menu screen, but cant get it to accept my Super Nova controller. The board is tres' impressive and looks to be VERY well made. Professional packaging and documentation, problem is the user manuual is almost entirely in Chinese which I can't read. Been tring every possible combo of dip switches to no avail. Sigh!!!!!!! :smt022 :smt022 :smt022
