16 GIG YES SIXTEEN GIG THUMB DRIVE

I dunno, it'd be cool but this thing will be roughly the same price as two 300GB HDDs. That's something I just can't live with. Or I could burn 4 DVDRs for about 50p.

Amazing technology though. I got a 2GB card for my PSP recently, and even that is incredible to me. I just a piece of plastic, how the fuck can it hold any data - not to mention 2GB! The future is going to be cool, Flash is going to give HDD / Optical medfia a run for its money very soon.

wow. that could be nice to have.. thought b\c it's flash memory it will have limited number of writes.. sure it's like 100000 or what ever.. but with this kind of sizes people will sure start use them as hdd.. and when windows\linux\what-ever start using it for virtualmemory\swap then 100000 writes isn't that much

Wow, that is sweet; I wonder what the damage is on one of those drives. My lowly 1gig Cruzer seems so, 'inadequate' now. :-(
