It's a new year at ASSEMblergames.com, and once again
this site needs your patronage.

It is only through member support that we can avoid the
blight all too common to the internet. Popups, adwords,
targeted advertising, invasive cookies, spam.
You will find none of these things at ASSEMblergames.com.

In 2008 ASSEMblergames.com served over 59,000,000
requests, welcomed almost 2,000,000 unique visitors to our
site and delivered nearly 41,000,000 files to the web. As a
result, many of the top search results refer to this site.

We are proud to be the quiet, intellectual corner of video
game fandom, free of the usual bickering and juvenile behavior.
Our members produce some of the most important content in
our hobby field; usually happy to remain in the background and
watch others enjoy the fruit of their hard labor. Our members bring
great knowledge, and as a result we have become a repository
of obscure, treasured knowledge.

Our costs are modest, but they exist. It costs $150.00 a month to
run the server ad free. $150 gets us our own dedicated server, one
immune to the whimsies of scared admins unfamiliar with our old
friend, the DMCA takedown notice.

do, and believe that our unique perspective on things deserves
support.
