2016 games you're looking forward to?

Shenmue III and Bloodstained in 2017 plus Star Wars. 2017 sounds like it'll be an awesome sequel to 1997 already.
1997 being the greatest year in human history.

I have to wonder if DOAX3 being import only is a marketing ploy seeing as Tecmo is releasing dirtier games than that. Maybe they gave Play-asia the exclusive English version distribution or something.

Just saw Scalebound got pushed back to 2017; a shame, as that's one of the few Xbox One games I'm really hyped for.

Oh, Killer Instinct S3 is out this year too. That'll be great.

 

I think Platinum is putting all it's resources into Neir Automata and TMNT and something had to get pushed back and that something was Scalebound. When they showed it at Gamescom the framerate looked horrible you could tell they showed it too soon.

Word is KI Season 3 is exclusive to Windows 10, strikes me as odd, unless they mean it's launching first on Windows 10. would make no sense for it JUST to be on Windows. That's what Siliconera reported anyway.

I am VERY tempted to get an XBONE for KI, Cuphead and maybe Scalebound and rare replay. I don't want my Xbox live account to up and die.

Fire Emblem Fates is one I'm looking forward to, even though there are some things I've heard that I'm not thrilled about.

 

Haven't bought a console since ps2 honestly, older games still appeal to me I guess.. but to answer the OP's question:

Final Fantasy VII remake, though with the current crisis core-ish battle system, dunno if I will like it. Thank god for Let's Plays

 

Zelda, assuming it gets released this year. If not then I'd at least love to see some actual fucking info on the game.

Darius Burst Chronicle Savior is already out but it's download only and the cost of a retail game. DLC is coming out soon which makes it MORE than a retail game. Don't buy it until it goes on sale.

 

Oh! Almost forgot, I'm hyped as hell for Overwatch.

Is anyone else interested in The Division? It's looking rather interesting, though I'm not sure how I would like their version of multiplayer, where teammates can just turn on one another.

 

I was at a party the other night and some dude was incredibly excited for this game. Talked my ear off about it. I checked into it and it looks pretty cool. I'll probably give it a shot if it goes on sale.

 

Dishonored 2, and isn't the new Deus Ex coming out this year? Human Revolution was great, so I have high hopes for Mankind Divided.

 

That battle system change pisses me off, so I'll be watching the game for a bit instead of buying it.

 

Being stuck on last gen still, i can only really think of Persona 5
