I have one. I'm still contemplating to put the chip as well coz I'm sick and tired of swapping to run PAL Shemnue II...
Its been over a year sense this was first done. I've never bothered doing it myself (all the games I like to play already have good frame rates). Its best done if you want to run some of the incomplete dc emus out their at the proper speeds.
or for Shenmue II and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2... yes it does screw up the speech of FMV in some games - it's actually funny to hear high pitched voice on AITD... ;p
Indeed, Speaking as the first english speakers to do the japanese guide (with the help of a few others), its quite fun what you can get working with the overclocked DC. I think the inforamtion is incorrect reagrding the video though as Im still trying to sort that out.
