    Bit ridiculous.

If you don't keep it in a box as a collectors item you're gonna get mugged.

I'm thinking of mugging coal stepping just for posting a posting a link to it.

Seriously though, what the actual fuck?

I'd have rather it had been platinum.

As an apple fan into macs and ipads, for phones I go with HTC. They always have amazing build quality. I didn't get an HTC One because of the non removable battery but its such a slick phone. Nice to see they one upped the iphone 5s with an actual rare and nice gold phone.

Protip: Gold is really, really soft, and therefore a scratch magnet. Especially if it's a polished surface like this one.

You buy these for the prestige, so you'd probably need a new one every month. Then again, if you have enough money to burn to buy one you probably don't mind buying even more.

Well if you're rich enough to sit there and think "you know what, I wish I could send email with one of my gold bars." then yeah, I don't think scratches would be a big concern.

You know that's the biggest concern with gold bars: versatility, or the lack thereof!

Actually they are pretty versatile: You can make them into pickaxes and shovels. Not as durable as diamonds, but faster. Also useful for golden apples. Armor is possible, too, but a waste of time.

Well, at least the after market value of your phone will be likely to go up instead of down.
