Anyone know if you can use the 27c010 EPROMs for making SNES repros? I have done many using the 27c801 chips, but a local dealer is having a sale on 010s and it would be great if I could take advantage of it.

I looked up the pinouts and they don't seem too different to the 801, and I think 010s have been used for NES repros in the past, but I couldn't find any information online about using them in SNES carts...

    Thanks!

OK never mind, I'm a silly! The 010 is only 1Mb, not 1MB. It's not big enough for SNES roms. Stupid boy...

The 29F032 isn't very expensive either, is it?

Well, I can only find them for about 5€ each - which isn't that bad - but these 010s I found locally were 1€ each, so that's why I was interested. But I misread the datasheet, 1Mb does not equal 1MB, kids.

Hrm, I've bought a bunch (like 300 or so) for about €2 a piece, iirc. Can sell a bunch for that price too.

I believe you, I just think that maybe they have gone up in price recently. I just had a quick look on aliexpress and the 032s are quite expensive (around 5€ - 10€ each at the moment) but the 033s (which are a drop-in replacement for the 032) can be had for around 3€ each, so that's pretty reasonable.

Sorry didn't mean to be rude, I missed your offer to sell. If you live in the EU and would like to sell some then I would gladly buy some, but as I said above I think you might be undervaluing them at 2€ each. That said, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth...
