3.55CFW Playstation 3 320GB - NTSC-J backwards compatible

Looking to sell my PS3. It was originally a 60GB Japanese model, which I've upgraded to 320GB. Current firmware is actually 4.41 REBUG, but I can install whatever CFW you want. Console is in decent condition, with the normal scuffs found on the original models. Comes with HDMI lead, USB lead and UK power lead. No box or controller. Looking for £110 inc. postage to the UK paid by Paypal gift or bank transfer. I can ship worldwide, but anywhere further afield than Europe would probably be prohibitively expensive.

 

Damn, I'd totally eat this up. Would you be interested in a certain amount of money (£70+) plus a Secret Agent Clank press kit? Maybe a couple of deal sweeteners?

 

This is rather tempting, though what it would be shipped here to the states?

 

Based on a rough guess of weight and size, it looks like it would be an extra £30 by UPS Standard Worldwide to the US (not including additional insurance).

 

$240 is still rather tempting, is this one sporting full hardware backwards compatibility?

Japanese (obviously), but yes it's a CECHA00 model.

 

Reduced to £110 inc UK delivery.

 

Final reduction to £95 inc. UK delivery before this goes on eBay.

All PS3 games are region free anyhow. So it only really matters for the DVD's that get played in it, and even then, I'm not sure that the DVD regions are locked off.

 

That is a false statement. Most, not all.

Also, BD movies, DVD movies, PS2 and PS1 games are all region coded. BD movies and DVD movies can be set to region code "all," though it is more common with BDs than with DVDs.

 

NTSC PS3s have one extra limitation. They prohibit 50hz DVD or bluray, disregarding region code.

 

I'm OK with that if we're genuinely talking a couple of days.
