Until Fast Striker comes out for the dreamcast. Can't wait, http://www.play-asia.com/Fast_Striker/paOS-13-71-x-49-en-70-3zxs.html and its gonna be region free yea.
It's region free as it's homebrew and might not work on some later dreamcast models. Their previous title Last Hope was a title that would have been an embarrassment on the Megadrive, it was stiff, unoriginal and annoying, at times I thought I was playing a really bad Amiga game. The only saving grace was I sold it for more then what I paid for it... Although the person who reviewed it for GamesTM and gave it 80% should be take out and shot. Dux was slightly better but still as a console title I would have felt ripped off if I had spent money on it (I got a review copy....). Going by the videos it still doesn't seem that great a game, if you are wanting something to play there are lots of freeware shooters that can be downloaded and run on a entry range netbook that look and play better. Yes it is impressive as it is on the dreamcast, however just because it's a game on a dead console doesn't mean you should rush out and buy it as that shows really everything that is wrong with collecting. A lot of people will rush out and buy this and a lot of people will then stick it on Ebay to try to maek some money... If you desperate for new(er) shooters then buy a Japanese PS2 or Xbox 360...
Do they even press GD-ROMs any more? I remember Sega wanting to stop GD-ROM production a few years ago.
Lol, it's already out man. Got released on the 21st of December, I got my two copies (LE+regular) on the 22nd.
And vice-versa all Naomi games after early 2007 were cartridge-based. Still it's a shame they shut it down, there were some neat Naomi games after 2007 and official DC-ports would have been great.
