Hello all, I'm getting ready to mod my 32x for s-video. My question is, is there a good tutorial for the audio outputs? I found a bunch of tutorials on the s-video mod but then where on the PCB do I connect the stereo RCA jacks? Thanks in advance! - John
you have to follow the pinout on the Av oput din and tap from there. also if you use it on a genesis 1, you'll never have stereo sound. but it works well for a model 2
There is a way to get stereo out of Genesis 1 but that involves a bit of modding. Inside you could add or reroute the audio out head phone to the back, and then build a custom Genesis 1 video port + stereo cable to 32X port. Considering the DIN to mini-DIN adapter is often lost or missing on used 32X, a custom solution would likely save you quite a bit compared to finding one on eBay.
