Anybody having problems with their 360 after playing Assassin's Creed? a friend of mine had to update his 360 after trying to play assassin's creed but after this update the 360 keeps crashing on us, sometimes after a second at the boot screen and sometimes after 5 or 10 minutes (but it will crash for sure)
A loud peep is hearable and the whole thing freezes, no error messages no rings of death no nothing?
Anybody have any idea what's up or with the same problem?

I had problems with a previous update, sadly I had to ditch it and purchase a new one as each attempt to get rid of the previous update made matters worse. Call MS if unit is under warranty, but be careful about how you word things! Sony would just say ''Okay, send it back'' MS are a little less enthusiastic.

No problems here, enjoying Assasins Creed very much.

Hmm sounds like its not Assassin's creed specific :/ the problem occurred right after the update hence the link..
I did read quite a lot of people had the same problem (also linked to AC) when using google, but nobody offers a solution sadly.
Sounds like my friend has to contact MS, first he has to undo the firmware mod otherwise I am sure they will not replace/fix it as his warrenty is unvalid now.

Personally, I am having some issues with Mass Effect. I've had it crash twice, once randomly and once while it was loading. Only other game that gives me these sorts of issues is Oblivion (Granted, its been awhile since I played it, so I bet there is a new patch for it).

It works most of the time. Unfortunately, as the fellow says, it is temporary. Usually.
