360 HD DVD

    I understand that the first batch of these were all region free

    Is there a way to check this? , serial number etc
    apart form the obvious one of a multi region disk as don`t have

    Aaah! now I'm even more bummed that I still haven't recieved my 360 HD DVD drive. I must have region-free-ness. Is it possible to connect an USA unit to a PAL 360?

    I'm pretty certain all HD-DVD players are currently region free, the 360 attachment included.

    they re limited by the console's region setting though, am i right?

    There's no region coding for HD titles yet BUT it's coming.
