It does look nice. Unfortunately I have run a store for 8 years now and every Display POD we have ever had has been virtually destroyed by customers (or should that be thugs). they are not cheap either, the last 2 we had (Dreamcast and Xbvox) cost £1000 each. Funny thing is most customers think shops get them for free lol. The Xbox360 one looks as though it has a few places for people to hang from, put things down and generally mess up. I'm sure I'll end up with one, even though I swore I necver would again
That does look very nice. I know just what museumsteve is on about though. The amount af arse holes that destroyed the Saturn and N64 ones that we had was amazing. We even had little shits trying to cut of the buttons from the pads !! I hate scum ! Yakumo
I guess it's a bit worse around scouse land with all the bastards around there though Yakumo (Disclaimer: I'm half scouse and not all scouse are arseholes, just 99.9% of them )
Hmm, i wonder if i can make friends with a local retailer and get them to buy me a 360kiosk before launch.
I'm 100% scouse and I agree with you The city of Liverpool is looking really nice these days comapred to many other British cities. It really is !! They even have a massive TV in the city center like Japan How many other cities have one of those? The thing that let's Liverpool down are all the arse holes that live there. It's a real shame because as a city it's actually not that bad :smt009 Yakumo
Fecking hell, you jammy git living in Liverpool... :smt023 ...My claim to fame is that I've watched every episode of "Brookside".
The pod looks nice! Glad to see that there'll be an HDTV monitor used to show gamers how much better the games can look!
Did anyone notice the gun on the screen? It looks IDENTICAL to the new Halo 2 battle rifle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!
well when my father was a sailor in his young days (he will be 60 this year) he sailed many times from Liverpool to another city (i think it was Boston but i am not sure at all since he has been in there too) he told the workers who got on the boat in Liverpool were pirates (no shit) since when they came onboard they had rags on their bodies and not pretty cloths and when they got to the next harbor they were in the prettyiest cloths and when they came back again (you got the picture) but one time my father should boil some tea to them and it was boiling (my father can´t speak english and he does not understand it but some words he know and can guess things in english and he will learn english this year since his english is bad) and they said when he wanted to put the tea from the stove it was not boiling enough and then he had enough of them and walked away , and then hell broke loose , but luckily it was cleared with the Norwegian Captain, since he told them he was a "stupid" dane (just for the record my father is NOT stupid) but that was my little story from my fathers sailing days since he has been almost around the world on ships . and read the text in your own rythm since i can´t punctate.
I've heard they're using HD ready Samsung LCD TVs. I'm in the market for a new TV this year, so I'll heave to check them out.
I hear ya buddy! Liverpool is horrble.. Trying to have a decent night out is like planning a mission. Need to know what pubs to go to.. what clubs.. and what route to take or else the 'locals' will ruin everything. and they lovely little darlings STILL think my CAR is a friggin GOAL! Yeah.. the actual place isnt too bad.. but 99% of the people are SCUM. I cant wait to leave this place and move away somewhere.
