LoL It helps that the PSP dived bomb due to the up comming 3000 & Wii is on a steady slow decline atm. still, props to microsoft. Wow, price drop + Tales of Vesperia really helped them out. Still not selling THAT phenomenal, but its nice to see the 360 making some progress.
umm No on Tales 3. Infinite Undiscovery (360) 86.708 [86.708] Price Drop + IU is why it did so well. -edit- 23. Tales of Vesperia (360) 4.600 [140.000]
Thats a shame. Still, Tales had higher day one numbers than Infinite Undiscovery (it sold 100K+). Too bad it dropped off the charts after that. And it didn't do much of anything in the US. It really is a much better game than IU.
Gosh, like no one saw that one coming(!) http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=304532&postcount=20 But 28,000 is a pathetic number. I was hoping for 30 or 40 thousand, next week it will barely get to 10,000 units sold and the week after probably about 5,000.
Still that is a very nice amount of units sold when you concider the PS3 didn't even make 10'000. Microsoft must be having a great time, well, for this week at least. yakumo
They would have sold more if they had sent more units to the big retailers like Amazon. Still out of stock there.
Indeed, but if you get the 2 weeks before and make "numbers" it sold less than 10 k more than ps3 (without any important game in ps3). I'm interested in the next week, how is the performance of Eternal Sonata in ps3.
Moving 30,000 consoles means 30,000 more households have them which means more people will be able to get familiar with them, including their friends and family. It's not like Japanese people have tried the 360 and didn't like it, the biggest problem is that most of them don't even bother trying in the first place. I'm sure weeks like this will help a lot.

Ah, now this is interesting. You see in Japan there are so many charts that you never know which is the most accurate. The same goes with music. I don't even think there is a real chart for music like the Billboard top 100 in the US or the Gallop charts in the UK. Hmm..........Still, we know it did better than the PS3  Yakumo
For one whole week... gosh! For the month the PS3 outsold it. Also not like the PS3 had any games of note released this month.
