Man, I remember upon hearing of the new three consoles I was like, "Pshhh I haven't even played enough of what I have now." Now my interest has shifted to wanting an Xbox 360, which is looking really really cool....like regular Xbox.....which is my favorite of my three systems I have now. They've done a good job of adding tons of features that I never really thought of consoles having before. How is that not innovative? Everyone will dog it for "trying to be a computer" or being made by Microsoft, but pshhhh whatever. :douga I still really wanna see stuff on Nintendo Revolution though.
yeah, hope it's a typo. i don't understand what will be the use of a cord controller, if at the end it's not even connected to the console? that's like the worst of both world. Well, maybe i'm the only one that see the cord ending on a white thing with an antena too, hope i'm wrong.
Why would you think the corded controller doesn't plug into the Xbox 360? That's the whole point of having the cord. Also, not sure why the mini keyboard on the controller is such a big deal when you can just plug a USB keyboard into the unit. Personally I've always liked full size keyboards better anyway. -hl718
well, that thing below that controller with a cord. so, i imagine you plug this in your system, or maybe even in your controller, but you sure plug this somewhere but what's the point if it ends with an antena? edit: Oh, that's maybe for the webcam..but couldn't they have made a built in the console receiver? as for the usb keyboard thing, maybe they won't allow it. they want to stay as far as possible from the pc remember, and that's what i would do if i was them. EDIT no2: Well, it's true that if a controller can be plugged into a usb slot and can be used. i must admit i wonder how they could block you to use a normal keyboard, since a keyboard can be connected to a controller. Maybe there's some kind of chip inside the controller, that let you use the usb slot, or in the keyboard, but i'm pretty sure someone will figure how to bypass the security (if all i am guessing is true, at first)
The "thing below the wired controller" is the wireless Ethernet adapter for the Xbox 360. As for the keyboard, MS put standard USB sockets on the Xbox 360 so that standard accessories could be used. Including a keyboard if a game (such as an MMO) were to support it. The Xbox 360 wired control pads terminate in USB connectors and can be used with the 360 as well as with Windows XP and Vista (Longhorn). -hl718
actually the cord is really used to just charge the batttery in the controller while playing.Still i am a bit excited about xbox 360, cant wait for perfect dark zero.
How's the face plate system work? Just snaps on like on those old Nokia cell phones, and just covers the front orrrrrrrrrrr what...?
Yes they are. Just because your boring doesnt mean that everyone is. Look at how many people here and on the net mod their consoles? How many paint them... Theres always going to be a big market for these. Now everyone will be able to paint their cover without fear of runing them as you can always buy a new one. Also there will be covers based on your fave games, films and so on.
Na, ppl just use it as an excuse to their parents/wife when they tell em "you wont put that ugly shit in my livingroom!" But nobody is goin to buy em, simply becos im sure that: *The desings will be ugly *Ppl would prefer to expend that money in more games (or anything usefull) *I dont like it, and im the Fuher so if i dont like them, then N0BODY LIK3S IT!!!1 :smt082
...Lol, well maybe but the figures for implementing a removeable faceplate were market driven, even a very small take up of 'faceplate' users will pay for the 'service', even the 'hype' alone is worth a sh*t load of cash
Lots of people went crazy over the E3 2005 faceplates. And lots of people go crazy over limited edition consoles. Well now MS (and pretty much anyone) can issue limited edition faceplates. A lot easier to store a faceplate than another console. -hl718
