I'm looking at individual files and came across the file format .XBG. According to the documentation it is a container file suitable for the 360. There is a tool which converts a .x file into a .xbg file. But I can't seem to find a tool, which does exactly the opposite. Convert the .xbg into a .x file. .x file can be read in DxViewer (directx) and with some conversion tool can be opened into Studio Max. I've tried to open the .xbg file in the makexbg tool, but it errored out with: Could not create the D3D vertex shader Does somebody know how to get these .xbg files readable in Studio Max? I assume it takes some conversions? Please help.
It would take some type of conversions, but I am not familar with that format and I would not be sure if it can be done.
