Finally after some five years I found and won a 3DO blaster off ebay.

Anyone have one? It's missing the drivers needed, and I haven't a clue how to install it.

I've got one installed that I"m very happy with.

Do you have a CR-563B drive? You will need one of those as well as the driver for it.
I'm not sure what all was included in your auction but you'll also need the Blaster software and driver of course, VGA pass-thru cable and compatible video and audio card.
I'd be glad to help with all of this if you like. I even have a spare CR-563B drive if you need it.

Here are a few pics of my setup that I took a while ago:

I knew the dvd drive was non ide, I was wondering if the early dvd drive bundled with wing commander would work.

I'm not familiar with the Wing Commander bundled drive.
If it's a cd drive model CR-563B it will work. No other drive will work with the Blaster.

Try getting a free trial membership at driverguide.com, I've found drivers for many rare and old stuff there.

3DO Blaster does indeed play all 3DO games. Imports as well.

The only exceptions are a small number of Japanese games for US released 3DO Blasters due to lack of support for a special Kanji font.

Nice setup you have there, bitrate. Is that Windows 3.1 running on that computer? Does it not work on Windows 95? Also, is it impossible to run games in full-screen mode?

    Thank you la-li-lu-le-lo.

Yes, the PC pictured is running Windows 3.1.
The Blaster card driver seems to have issues with Windows 95.
The games can be run in full-screen mode in both DOS and Windows. Scalable resolutions, however, are only available in Windows.
