https://www.ebay.com/itm/3DO-M2-DEV...893899?hash=item286ab450cb:g:LPkAAOSwSVdbw590 I seriously hope someone in the M.A.M.E. scene gets their hands on this for further reverse-engineering of the konami m2 arcade games..... I would be so pissed if some manual collector buys it JUST to say "oh hey I have the 3do m2 dev manuals and I'm just going to shove them in my closet for 30 g-d years like an a$$hole!!"

I know pit, not personally, but we've talked konami m2 stuff quite a bit in the past. I just once again really hope some random huge tech-head in the mame scene picks it up lol Its been a long time since Phil Bennett supposedly stopped development of his m2x konami m2 emulator. A real shame too.... he gets it to just barely run and halts his progress out of NOWHERE
This is presuming the dev docs have anything schematic related to the Bulldog ASIC. It might not be a huge help. So hard to say since the contents aren't really catalogued I can buy them if anyone is interested in going in on the cost. I can front the $ but I have absolutely no time to scan them whatsoever
I think you'd get more traction with the Cirrus M2 card and drivers. The drivers in conjunction with the card itself would help better understand just what the GPU is doing. PowerPC emulation is obviously well known at this point in time.
Hi guys, I'm from a preservation group VGPC / redump.org We're going to place a bid on the Kiosk disc for $50 https://www.ebay.com/itm/173588811238 Assuming we win, it will be datted with redump, rom released, then resold. As far as the documents go, awbacon: we run a scanning group as well and have feed scanners, so we could handle the scanning and release of these documents if you wish to fund the purchase.
ill consider it. I have a few other items I am looking to acquire so depending on funds I may try to pick them up. Like I said I have very little interest in keeping them, so I just need to make sure I don't end up with a $300+ shipping box of papers I can never get my money back on lol
I am a stupid man. I have these (in full, in part? Hundreds of pages) as a PDF doc lol Just went through my drives because I could have sworn I had some
sure. If anyone wants them just pm me. I did not scan them, and I am not taking any credit for them lol. Just something I downloaded years ago I still have.
I do know that what Pitsunami is selling is way more comprehensive than what I have. Someone should buy them, I just don't think it'll be me. Too much of a project and not in the direction I am working in regards to M2
The two title pages in the auction look different. Mirrored your docs here, thanks for scanning awbacon! https://archive.org/details/Panasonic3DOM2DeveloperReferenceDocuments
Yes they are. That’s why this is not a comprehensive set of docs. I’m sure what Pit is selling is much more involved and detail oriented
So did anyone here win the auction? The possibility of anything going wrong during shipping caused me to chicken out on bidding.
Found some more docs / dev kit stuff https://twitter.com/vgpc_dizzzy/status/1055263284968869888 awbacon are these from you?
Absolutely, positively, amazing stuff everybody.... Absolutely amazing!!! I love seeing this kind of stuff come to light again after all this time. It gets people think about and working on it again!!!! love all the positive energy
