Hello, So I bought a 3DO off ebay that will work for a bit and then will have no video or audio. The red led and access light still show, but nothing on the screen. The eject button stop working as well, so i assume it's something more than an AV issue. If I leave it for a few minutes off it'll start working again, but stop again after a few minutes. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening? Could it be an issue with caps or the transformer? Also I tested the caps and they all seem to be at or above the rated farads however the 100uf caps are giving me readings of 1500 and up. Is there something wrong here am I misreading the caps or are they supposed to be that high? Thanks for your help guys :)

You could have had your multimeter set to the wrong ohm setting. It sounds almost like something's shorting and overheating?

I would replace the power caps. Which version of the 3do do you have?

It's an FZ-1. Would you mind pointing out which ones are the power caps?
