I posted this on the original mod by mistake. Basically I took a screengrab from a fz1 service manual. Refers to the chip as "DA9103". Also a ycpbcr color mode...can we'll get component out :) anyways good hunting! I just got my 3do USB controller from Belarus. Going to hook that up in a bit. The DA9103 refers to the BT9103 encoder used in PAL and Canadian 3DO. It is very similar to the BT856 encoder which states that the YC pin is used for toggling between 24bit RGB input and 16bit YCrCb input. The BT9103 is only capable of S-Video and CVBS output. 3DO requires additional modding to output RGB or YCrCb.

i would be interested in one of these mod boards, but i am more interested in the progressive scan mod. **edit** cant be done on the usa bt9103 chip. :-( ** Svideo doesnt look to bad to me through the scaler i use but, i can still see the interlaced haze. I just want my 3do to be as sharp as my saturn. :)
