How hard is it to locate a NTSC 3DO (not M2) debug/testing station, and what shoud I expect to pay?

Or, is it possible to find a copy of the 3DO encryption software?

They show up at least a couple of times a year, prices depends on the seller really, I don't even know what the "encypted/unencrypted" modes do but surely not much. Someone here was sellling one very recently for either $300 or GBP300, I'd pay like $100 because I suspect it's simply a switching BIOS and as soon as someone decides to drop it on the net it'll be worthless.

Was FZ-10 the only model uses as a debug/testing station?

I'm suprised someone hasn't tried selling a debug/testing BIOS. I'd be willing to buy one.

If anyone doesn't have the means to dump the BIOS and wants to, feel free to PM! I'd pay airmail shipping roundtrip provided the BIOS is the key component to the "debug" 3DO.

What a wonderful idea. I send you the debug bios, the price of my 3DO Development Unit 5.0 goes from 300$ to 100$. And I make you happy. Sign me up!

Seriously, I do plan to dump the bios with willem 4.5, but I certainly do not intend to "share" it. It will reduce the interest to dev stations to only few collectors, and it is a copyright violation, and I don't like the idea of being analy raped by Trip Hawkins and his legal team.
