Yeah, I mentioned the DVD controller for the PS2 and how it COULD play games. I said this right after someone posted an image saying Sony was going to steal the controller idea from Nintendo.

I posted a pic of the DVD remote, and said that the picture was innacurate. Some members then implied that I was being fanboyish, but that doesnt change the fact that the PS2 DVD remote can play some of the PS2 games.

But in all fairness, that wasnt their primary controller they were trying to sell to play games. Playing games on it was probably an afterthought.

Yeah, but the idea of a remote that could act as a controller was done by Philips with the CD-i long before what Sony had done with its PS2. So, the remote-like controller idea, done by Sony with its PS2 DVD remote (but hardly promoted as such), and now with the Revolution is an idea stolen from what many consider to be one of the worst video game platforms to date.

Ha, yeah, I remember looking at the cartoon screens of the Zelda games for the CD-I. Vgcats did a parody and had Link saying "Not even Picasso would like me"

What the Hell? Is this third party or what? Looks cool. It sort of reminds me of the Xbox controller design. Is this the controller design for kids who both share a PS2 yet they have single player games, so this could make a single player game, a 2 player game. Interesting idea, but IMO kind of dumb. Would sell a lot I'd imagine, though. A lot of parents would think that would fix the sharing problem.
