Slightly OT but I don't wanna open another thread just for this. But there's a guy who lives 10 miles away who has a 360 on eBay, he says that it 'probably' hasn't been opened because he bought it second hand from Game (EB) and it's not RRODing it's simply starting up and he can hear the sound of everything he's doing but can't see anything. Is it worth picking up to see if it's a simple problem or could this be something worse and be best left alone? The only thing I can think it would be is that the console may be stuck in a HD resolution and he's using it on an unsupported TV as I've had that happen to me on a premium I used to own and it's easy to fix. I've offered him £30 for it. Which considering it has no controllers or HDD is a pretty good offer. RROD units sell for £25-40 in the same condition.

It's most likely a problem on with the GPU tbh man.. a bawhairs' bredth away from RRODing. But if you fancy doing a bubblegum-and-sticky-tape fix on it, then it could be a good cadidate.
It's not like your 360 is going to just die and it's going to be the end of the world or anything. Man, if I had to stick to PC gaming I'd stop playing games all together lately.
I just got my halo 3 360 back!!! and they have replaced it with a brand new unit!!!! i'm a bit happy at the moment
