i don't know how any other ''kind'' of gamer could be apealed by this thing, but it isn't appropriate for kids either.

''Yo ièm a big bro muthafucka with loads of guns, im a gangsta duuude. Buy my Cidi! Buy my Game! I'm a fucking cool illegal gangsta that is commercial enough to be sold everywhere, isn't that fucking cool paradoxal, Yo? Fuck the pigs. (insert others things to make 50 cent look stupid here) ''

It's a knee jerk reaction, hey let's make a game about 50 cent killing people! Based on a weak movie!

OMG, like Clarence ever lived a "gangsta" life ever. All he needs to do now is to be "assasinated" to release more "lost" albums like Tupac, whom seems to be coming out with new albums years after his death.

The movie sux and the video game sux, period.

My God, 50 cent is right! I remember when I worked for Gamestop, only kids would ask for that game.

I used to tease the kids when they asked, "Do you got the 50 Cent game?" I would say, "Sorry, we don't have any games for 50 cents."

that fits perfectly with my first post on the thread. Sorry, But But this kind of(comercial) gangsta (comercial) shit only seems to attract all sorts of kids trying to find a to convince themselves that they belong to a gang that is "mean", because mean is so " f***ing illegal" that it is "cool" to be "mean".

    (Semi-OT)
In psychology, this kind of acting is of the fusional stage of life. Before i continu to explain what those stages are all about and why do i talk about them to get my point, i need to talk about some rules (not all of them, it would be too long).

1st, there's 6 stage (if i remember right) in your life. You evolve at your rythm on those stage trough your whole life. People can influence you and make you evolve to a new stage, but you can also return to an earlier stage, or get blocked in one of them, and people can also influence you for that. It's thougher and longer to pass to another stage when you advance in the line (1 to 2 aren't long, though some people never reach the highest levels.). And finally, You do not step to one stage to another in one day, it's progressive, and sometimes you can fall to another stage for a certain act or period of time, it can happen.

So let's return to that fusional stage, This stage is described as a research of hourselves, where you're influenced alot and that, contrarly to other earlier stages, you care alot about what other people think of you. You're weak, but you want to hide it, it can sometimes even turn to illegallity, violence in extreme cases. You have the sense of the group, you need to be linked to something, someone, people in general. You're taking yourself for another.

Now link this with this "gangsta rap" thing. It fit just too well.

The thing is: This stage is around 10-11 to 14, depending to individuals. More and more people get blocked at this stage, hence why there's alot more of Street gangs and all thes ekind of thing (shit), why kids talk like shit, why they try to link themselves with older things, and why the ****ing look all the same.

    Why?

My question is why do kids aspire to be nothing more than common street criminals? Why do these morons try to compare themselves to the gansters of yester-year when they have nothing in common? At least the old mob was organized and when the wanted to kill a specific peson, they killed that person not every eprson but them in a public area.

In Toronto there are shootings more and more often and the sad part is half the time the shooter hits everyone but their intended target. This mentality is transfering to the suburbs too and now there are these lame little gangs of kids who run around and try and beat people up for like $5 at night. The most interesting part of their behaviour is that when confronted alone they chicken out and then try and get a group to attack you.

    *Rant mode off*

Why are you defending 50 cent?

Dude i like(d) rap once upon a time, in or about 96 it lost every bit of soul it had, its bad enough rap has always been about sampling some 70s gold hit or rock song but at least back then it said somthing.

One would think that rap would be getting edgier, wrong!! its as whimpy as it has ever been, 2live crew, Ice cube, NWA,were pissed!! Now we have who as the lone voice of opposition aginst the (man) fiddy!! WOW! impressive.

We go from rapping about segragation, police brtality, and drug addiction to rapping about 20s, money, bitches and hoes.....too short had the (pimp) niche of rap covered and done in 1988. biieetch!!!

Fantastic, I've been looking for a video of that for over a year(not too hard mind you). I was there, and it was mighty good - and that was one of the weaker parts. Camping chairs, and considerably more bottles were being thrown nearer the beginning.

On topic, he's an arse. I'd hope the ESRB stamp down on him for this - if a game is rated R then its not intended for children, and he can't change this, and definately shouldn't be encouraging those under 17 to buy it.
