I'm looking for a 56k rj11 to Ethernet bridge (802.11 WiFi). I have a Windows 9x setup and Dreamcast, and they both have 56k modems.

I've found some from Cisco but they're old, big and expensive ($100.00+).

Basically I want something that allows 56k dial-up hardware to access a Ethernet lan. I thought there'd be smaller devices at a lower cost but I can't find any. I'm only looking to spend $20.00 or less.

Not 100% sure but couldn't you get a 56k PCI/AGP Adapter for the windows system and Ethernet and use that as the bridge?

Have you tried a modem router? Otherwise I'd just find a compatible USB modem and use a usb to Ethernet extender and run it through a router (won't work for wifi but may work on Ethernet through a router)

dial up to usb > usb to Ethernet > Ethernet to usb > win9x machine > internet
