Can anyone tell me what this cart does? Can I do anything with it if I don't have the rest of the kit? Can I do anything with it if I only have a retail N64 and 64DD?
no there isnt anything really anything you can do with a retail 64DD and that cart. when you have that cart plugged into the dcc board or top of the partner ram cart it allows the dev DD to display text like the clock/time settings and disk errors. without that cart you get just lines of bars where text characters should be displayed
