I've spent some time looking into various Pokémon-related games planned for the N64 and 64DD and have come to the conclusion that there were more games planned than indicated on this site. According to various interviews (most with Shigeru Miyamoto) there were at least four different Pokémon games planned for 64 console, one for the N64 and three for the DD. The ROM-based game planned directly for the N64 was explicitly stated to be Pikachu Genki Dechu (Hey You Pikachu! in the U.S.) while two of the three planned for the DD were named 'Pocket Monsters 64' and 'Pocket Monsters RPG'. There's no indication of what the third title was meant to be though it's possible it was either the Pocket Monsters Stadium Expansion Disk or Pokémon Snap (originally a 64DD title that was eventually moved to cartridge and released). 'Pocket Monsters 64' was described in such a way that suggests it became Pocket Monsters Stadium, which leaves 'Pocket Monsters RPG' unaccounted for. (And contrary to popular belief, 'Pocket Monsters 64' and 'Pocket Monsters RPG" were not the same game) Anyone have further details on any of these games, particularly the oft-forgotten 'Pocket Monsters RPG'? Interviews, blurbs, scans, anything would be extremely helpful and interesting.
