The description seems to indicate you're including the games in the app , however the screenshots seem to indicate this app only contains information about the games; you may want to clarify on that. If the app is indeed a compendium of information (not ROMs), do you have plans to port it to Android?
Well caught.. Updated the description of both versions. Thanks pool7.. and no plans for an android version as of yet. It depends how well it does on iOS.
Shame. There are way more Android users than there are iPhone users, so it seems counter-intuitive to judge whether to bother to support the more popular platform based on uptake on a less popular one! I certainly won't be getting an iPhone just to try it out. Nice look to it from the screenshot, though! One thing to watch - those covers are copyrighted so, considering you're selling the full version, you could find Sega and other publishers knocking on your door. They probably won't bother, but it's worth bearing in mind.
Totally agree with you retro, but I'm concentrating my development on iOS only for the time being.. I'll be honest, and say I haven't looked into supporting android yet. As for SEGA, I spent quite a while talking to them about it, even sending them written requests that they asked for... And a complete list of all the game images I needed to use, rights pricing etc, only to have them do nothing for a month, then request the exact same info again... Then nothing for another month, and when pressed on the matter, they said they had lost the original enquiry, didn't know what I wanted and could I send it all again.... So I thought.... F&@k em and released it anyway.. If SEGA ask me to remove it from sale ill gladly comply.
Wow no Android version! Shame on you lol. No seriously I would buy the Android version if you ever release it.
Add me to the list. I wouldn't rule out a Master System version either, I think the people from SMS Power! might be interested to help.
android version would be great nice idea too, dont think i'll ever own and apple phone or ios device to try it out. but nice idea should be helpful and informative to some
I downloaded this for my iPod but I'd rather own it on my Android phone. So much better than any iPhone andf that's coming from an iPhone user. Come on, support Android
maybe I don't fully know the regulations of the app store, and I'm really not trying to troll just legitimately concerned, but if you have all the box art in the app, I can't imagine there is any way you legally own the rights to be charging to view them... I actually have an Android app in development focusing on retro consoles in general, mainly geared at collecting in the field though, not just being a system database
