Just noticed a new update to the OS was released a few days ago. As I am a pretty casual user of flash carts, I have no idea what this update does. The changlog says this: nesos-v9.1 16.04.2014 1)512K PRG for mapper 34 2)512K PRG for mapper 2 Does this mean added mapper support? Does this mean more games that will be compatible? Excuse my ignorance if this is a silly question.
It means that a few more games will work. #2 means it extended the amount of ROM a mapper 2 game can use. I think only homebrew and unlicensed games might need this. The same is likely true of #1.
