A Bunch of Proto Sonic games

After scavenging through hundreds of websites i have come across quite the few rom images, including a few sonic prototypes:

Knuckles Chaotix 1994 Beta Prototype (A.K.A Sonic Crackers A1: Released 1994/04/01)
It appears this was meant to be it's own game. Sonic team could even spring for a graphical Title Screen, opting for a ASCII Based Screen.

Knuckles Chaotix Prototypes(111,119,1207,1227,1229)
Not many differences between the versions, except between 119 and 1207 which dropped some levels and characters.

Sonic 3D Blast E3 Demo
Self Explanatory. The Test Cartridge used at E3 '96 to demo the game, which has lots of graphical errors and glitches

Sonic 3D Developmental Prototypes (814,819,835,830)
Developmental Prototypes because there would be screens detailing "XXX to be placed here", typically in the credits and later levels

Sonic Spinball Prototype (A.K.A DEV '94 Edition)
idk much about this one, but it has a few minor differences than the final version.

Currently Looking for:
Sonic the Hedgehog '91 Beta (E3? Beta)
Sonic the Hedgehog 102? Beta (number might be wrong...)
Sonic CD Beta (1992)
Sega Test Cartrige (Used to test the components?)

AND a Sega Saturn Beta Bios that i found on a website, but provides a dead link to a public server.

Since i can only post 4.01 MB i'll post only the sonic spinball beta. the others exceed quota

 

I assume these are all from hidden palace's releases.

 

No, from another wiki-type website, which inturn probably got them from hidden palace. i wasn't sure if somone had posted info on her about them here so i decided to post info here.

 

nice release have to check these out later love sonic games.

Ah yeah, most likely part of that HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE archival dump that drx did a few years back. Good stuff! I mean to do another backup of that baby sometime, I've since lost a lot of data :/

Blah, our uni blocks all torrent traffic the moment it shows up...ehh I think I have this bumming around a hard drive somewhere.

 

I actually have the Spinball prototype. I also have 3 betas of Sonic and Knuckles game. The first one is the full game before it was split in 2. I can provide links for anyone who wants them. They're over on the Sonic Retro site. The betas have a few slight differences from the final split game release. They also play on real hardware through Everdrive MD.

Just my $0.02 on the matter.
