A case for the PS3 from a 360 owner

You all know I'm pretty much Anti PS3 blah blah blah. But what I encountered yesterday today is just sad and I was compelled to attempt to make a Case for the PS3. One that you know actually explains what it has over the 360.

Ok so yesterday I was in a chatroom and some PS3 owner started ranting about how the PS3 is 1000x better than the 360. Here are some of the arguements.

- Sony doesn't hire transsexuals like Microsoft.
-How's your HD DVD Player (yes that was an argument)
- Resistance Fall of man (the lone game this idiot said it has over the 360 to which I responded with about 50 FPSes on the 360 that aren't on PS3)
- Microsoft can't program for shit
- PSN is Free (and the consensus is even between owners of both systems
XBox live is better)

So I asked him GAMES list GAMES. Any arguement he had about the PS3 being more powerful is nulled since from what I see on the specs for both they're pretty much even.

But Idiot is so much of a fanboy and he's also probably never touched a 360 so he can notice a few things the PS3 really does have over the 360.

-Built in Wireless
-a better interface with the XMB (not that I hate the blades on the 360 but the PS3 is just more efficient)
-Most comfortable controller you can get.
-HDMI from Day one
- Regon Free

Games are reltive most people will say MGS4 though I'm not a fan. But what about Games software is what sells a system right? Unless you're an idiot fanboy like that dude.

For me the Best Cases are God of War III and Little Big Planet. Also I think PS3 has the better Soul Calibur IV becasue of Vader.

See the thing is. I typed in XBOX sucks and Anti XBOX. All I found were rap filled propaganda videos and illogical rantings. Nobody really even attempting to make a logical case for the PS3. Which though I prefer the 360 and don't really want a Wii of PS3 disgusted me.

So I sorta made my Case for the PS3. Lets see what you can do.

I'm imposing 2 rules

1. Where as the 360.... no statements like that
2. the RROD cannot be mentioned at all either.

 

The PS3 pad is horrible, I actually cry tears of blood when I use it. The 360 pad is infinitely better, especially for FPS games.

I use my PS3 more as it has more non FPS games, I love Everybody's Golf, FolkLore, Eye of Judgement, FlOw, Everyday Shooter, etc etc.

I wouldn't choose one over the other as the 360 has more (as in some) JRPG's, the online is better (not that I use it anymore) and the pad is better, but the PS3 is near silent, better interface, better store. It's swings and roundabouts. Anyone that claims one is better than the other (unless they append it "for them") is just being a moron.

 

Mine's quite fine, seeing as it cost me 30$ and the movies have been 8$-10$. You should have asked him how the Fifth Element and Underworld were on BluRay. I'll be watching big Lebowsky, thanks.

 

Can we please not have another "my system is better than yours" pissing contest...

 

Maybe the wired, but the wireless controllers batterypak ruins it for me, feels like it's in the way for my fingers. Other than that I like it.
