This group is called "Freelance Police Resurrection Project". Since LucasArts has a new president, who seems to be tolerant of graphic adventure games, I would like the company to finally uncancel this long-forgotten gem. And yes, I already know that Telltale has the Sam and Max license, so I would like there to be some kind of deal between the two companies (like with Tales of Monkey Island) that would finally allow that game to come back from the dead.

If you don't remember, let me remind you. It was the game that LucasArts started working on back in 2003, that was cancelled on March 3, 2004. Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson, who originally voiced Sam and Max back in Sam and Max Hit the Road, were going to reprise their roles in this game. They've even recorded 2/3 of the game's dialogue, and I don't want it all to go to waste.

And by the way, NOT A SINGLE ONE of the sixteen Sam and Max episodes that Telltale has made includes content from this game. Not a one.

If there's anyone out there who, like me, wants this game to come back from the dead, don't be afraid to speak up!

Even if we speak up Lucas arts will still refuse to give the rights to telltale games to continue developing the game. they already tried once in 2006 and failed to acquire the rights for the game.

Back then, a jerk was running LucasArts! There's no reason why Telltale can't try again now!
