A few Xbox 360 Alphas/Cancelled Games to share

I'll re-zip them here. What is best for such large files? 7 zip or winrar? I'll then re-up load them.

Which ones are not working? It takes me about 10 hours to upload 4gb, so if I can avoid doing all I'd rather that.

Anyone tried Lost Planet 2 yet? Haven't got an XDK for the 360 myself, so can't try it, but curious to see if there are any notable differences from retail (+how far back in development it is). So to anyone who has tried it, here's a quick thing to check; does the d-pad activate night vision goggles or a flashlight?

 

As far as I can tell its just retail with a debug menu although haven't tried the light switch on dpad.
The dates on the discs I have are: Lost Planet Colonies 2008/03/10 and Lost Planet 2 2009/12/16.

 

RAR5 usually do better job with multimedia files and text than 7z, but i think there will be not great difference. However RAR5 needs Winrar 5, 7z can be extracted with Winrar (not all compression methods but most of them).

I belive Crackdown and Saints Row are ok, GOW is wrong. Lets see if anyone can confirm it.

 

I using jdownloader also to extrakt the files and anything is fine. tested and work perfect for me.

 

I was able to download gears no problem. I had errors extracting with winrar but it was an error that could be okay'd to continue and the files worked no problem.

 

See this makes sense to me. They have always worked in the months I have had them on Mega, which leads me to believe that mega is causing the issues. Not the initial zips. Try using jdownloader.

 

That means that some files have not been extracted because they are corrupted. Maybe they are important maybe not.

 

That's pretty much exactly 5 months before the game was released, so this puts it between the campaign demo they released (in August 2009 -- features flashlights) and the multiplayer demo (April 2010 -- uses nightvision goggles).

A lot of commands doesn't work right, might no be a good bin file or the xex isn't proper for retail build.

 

I know but its all i have to share since most of my stuff was lost in a fire :/

 

wait, you mean some debug xex can be launched on retail hardware somehow, really? But how?

 

He means replace the default gears 2 .xex on your jtag, rgh or xdk and replace it with the debug version.
