    Snake oil for sale

I think I may bid on this item. I seriously need to expand my PSX collection, and what better way then to pay a few grand for a 'Brandy New' game. Hehehe.....

Btw, if anyone is interested, I have some real estate at Atlantis for sale. Very cheap, perfect for the whole family. :happyhap:

I paid like $55 for the Japanese version back in the day. I don't like that game that much.

american version goes for some money, used goes for like 100 and on gamestop they have it for 150 used "the old print" the new print goes for 20, has a different crappy cover.

  11. Those prices may have been valid in 1997 when the game first came out, but now you find the game - both printings - on the used shelf at Gamestop for $14.99. The Greatest Hits version can be found sealed new for $20, and if you look you can sometimes still come across the original printing for the same price.

My god, what utter crap. And look at the packaging and label. Will somebody be dumb enough to pay 100 dollars for that?
SSJ5 my ass. That's the AF rumour, right? There's even an "intro" to that DB that's just really the intro to Budokai3 with a shitty logo.

Oh, by the way, does anybody know if Mugen is a Mexican invention? I'd heard that before, but I don't know who the author is.

    What is Mugen?
Ever wanted to know what it would be like to make your own 2D fighting game? Well, now you can. Mugen is an engine made by Elecbyte that allows you to fully make, design, & customize your very own fighter. It's a powerful program that is quite flexible & rather easy to work with. The matches you've always dreamed of are a reality with Mugen.

The word Mugen does stand for something, but no one can seem to remember exactly what that is. The original developers of this engine are no longer around, but the community is kept alive by faithful players & creators

I'm not sure who invented it but it's been around since ~1996. Electrobyte were the original creators, I believe the site was hosted in the US. I thought I remember Mugen being an acronym for something but in Japanese mugen can mean infinite, dream monster/spirit and numerous other misnomers. BTW Kasumi from DOA's fighting style is mugen-tenjin.

Kyuusaku: yeah cool :) and my own fighting style is a mixture of berzerker rage and Jeet Kune Sumo (not a wrong spelling) :) since i am so fat some of the JKD moves are more sumo than "Do" moves.

Mugen used to be tough. I would play it on my old crappy PC, and it would lag when I had more than 15 characters. Damn that Gateway 2000 sucked. Mugen died later though, or so I thought.

I remember people used to make nude versions of Mai, Blue Mary, Chun Li, and all the other girls. Pervs :-D

I had (have) a P75 Gateway 2000 (8mb RAM) , Mugen worked on that for me from 1997-9, I couldn't imagine your computer being worse ;)

I didn't say it didn't work, it just went really slow. I don't know about that ram on mine, but the hd was only 1GB with windows.
