    Not sure which part of Europe you are on about, but in the UK thats not true, unless there is no one in. Even then you can have arrangements with your postie to put it in the outhouse etc if you want.

    I have noticed that shipping that on Yahoo Japan Auctions the postage rates are very reasonable. Along similar lines I saw a program the other day that said it costs 5p to ship a pair of jeans from China to the UK! (bulk obviously, but still)

    There *are* semi-unreasonable shipping methods, and some sellers force you to use them: Any of the takkyuubins or Yuupack are pricey for a single game...especially one that runs less than 1000 yen. Shipping is then 600 to 700... even more if you want Chakubarai (pay cash for shipping charges upon arrival).
