I just heard the terrible news that Morgan Freeman (US Actor) is fighting for his life and is in a critical condition after a car accident late last night. Apparently he overcorrected his car as he lost control of it and rolled several times. Apparently he was seriously hurt, however lucid. Every finger crossed! He is one of the finest, most sincere, talented and compelling black actors today. Anyone who gives a shit should perhaps spare a thought for him, and his passenger(s) and hope that this doesn't turn into another one of my obituary threads. Hang in there dude!
Ah crap, hope he doesnt die, I wont stand will smith taking over as a narrator... What I dont understand is why he was using such an old car (with less security).
Edit * According to CNN he is fine - f***ing media b*st*rds! They hyped his injuries up and made me shit my pants! Fractured ribs and bruises is not seriously injured or critical condition. I tell you, these journalists need to return to media school or at least grab a dictionary before they out-pour their sensationalist crap! Get well dude! Annoying media, but great news none the less!

I don't think God would go out in a car crash.... Glad to hear he's okay, he's a fine actor... even if he does seem to play 'Morgan Freeman' in most of his films.
Yeah, he isn't one for slapping on some silly costume, dumb accent and pretending to be someone he isn't. He does however give a solid performance. I think his best performance was in Se7en.
not at all. Blacks have come a long way in a hostile star system (e.g. "King"Cole) and to this day their results are more impressive than the abundant "white" actors out there. Not because they re better or worse, but because there's less "black" actors. Additionally, some roles are only fit for a particular color due to the person they re impersonating as actors. You can't have Mohamed Ali acted by a Brad Pitt for example
Eh, well since this is sliding off topic you have to realize that we are not allowed to discriminate by colour, unless we are that particular colour ourselves. Then we can use it to distinguish every positive difference we possess or any possession we lack. That is, unless we are white. It is a world gone mad.
Strange, I remember Morgan himself saying he really hated being referred to as being a "black actor" as he hated the implication that he only got parts in movies because of his colour.
If so, it's certainly not meant to be. If by that you mean I am singling him out because of his skin tone, then no I am not. He is an amazing actor - period! Frankly, the PC brigade can go regenerate themselves via osmosis as far as I am concerned. The only people I dislike are those who make divisions by denial and obscure language.

Fact of life the press over hype things causing people to panic. Good example is knife crime Brittan, look at the real stats its actually falling.
