Hey everyone. I would like some feedback on a short film I made. It was a quick project, I finished in one night. I did all of the filming and editing. So any words of advice or criticism would great. Thanks!

Thanks for the nice words. Like I said it was quick. But I just had to show a possible employer that I can basic filming and editing. Hopefully he likes it. I figured, "What's funnier than someone getting hit in the nuts??" Not much imo.

 

Must say the editing and filming looks pretty good! Had a good laugh too btw. What kind of job do you want if you mind telling?

 

It's a job for school on campus. As far as I know it's filming lectures and instructional videos. The employer wanted me to show him some of my work and since I didn't really have much, since I'm up at school, so I had to put something together last night.

 

I guess the guy liked it. I've got an interview on Wednesday.

@Atenhouse - No, I don't go to PLU. It was my third choice on my list of universities. I actually attend Seattle Pacific so I live in the big city. It's pretty awesome up here, I love it. I've got A LOT of friends that go to PLU though. I just didn't care for Parkland all that much. :/

@WolverineDK - Yeah, those melodies sound pretty close to each other. I wonder which one came first... However, I'm sure both bands were influence by some bavarian polka or something.

 

KNA Connected came out with the song last year. So I believe the song you used is older, and well I think KNA Connected has taken it, and pumped it up in speed.

 

Good editing and music etc etc.....IMHO could see the punch line coming though, but only my opinion

@WolverineDK - The song I used just came out this last June of 2007. But since Umbrellas is an indie rock band from Oklahoma and KNA Connected is a Danish hip hop group, my guess is that they've never heard of each other. haha, but who knows.

@virtual alan - Yeah, I didn't think the punchline would be too surprising. But just think it's funny. Really funny. Like, I'm starting to laugh just thinking about it. Thanks for the feedback!

Well I read some of the Danish comments , and they said KNA Connected has worked with American musicians. So I still believe KNA connected , took the riff from the song.
