A Yellow and A Blue Game Boy!

I am looking for a Yellow and a blue DMG Game Boy, cause I need them in my collection.
It doesn't matter if they work or not, I can replace the entire thing.
However the housing needs to look decent

Got the Yellow Pocket for 30 DKR (4.50$), because seller said it couldn't read games.
Brought it home, flipped a game in it. Worked perfect, my lucky day

The Yellow DMG I had to pay a bit more for, but it is in absolutely beautiful condition, no scratches on front or back, screen working perfect, buttons nice and tight. A really nice find!

Still looking for that blue DMG! It's extremely difficult to find one in good condition (with a fair pricetag)

Anyway, you are right, it is quite hard to find a Coloured DMG in good looking condition. Most of the time, the DMG has finished in the hands of little brothers and sisters....

 

How much You offer for blue DMG?

 

Also the fact that these systems ain't exactly getting younger, it is possible to find the original grey one pretty cheap.
But those colored DMG's have been giving me som headaches.

I remember reading the Nintendo Gameboy catalogue every evening, looking at all these coloured fat gameboys, telling me that I will own them all one day.

 

Are you a "box and all" collector?
Or just looking for the actual units?
Which one don't you own at the moment?

 

I prefer to have the boxed object, with everything inside. But because I miss some place in my flat, I also buy video game systems without packaging.

I have a gray fat boxed gameboy, a boxed red pocket one and all the other I have are unboxed : A red, green, Black and Blue Fat ones, and a green, yellow, pink, blue, silver, black, and transparent pocket ones.

It is not a lot compared to some gameboy collector but I feel good when I look at them. I should be able to find a pic somewhere on my laptop.

How about you ?

 

Found this picture on my phone.
The collection isn't huge yet, but I do also own a spare red pocket one, a none functioning pink pocket.
And a couple of Grey DMG's with bad screens, and a modded transperant DMG as well.
I also have a couple of real nice looking Game Boy Colors, Advance etc, but that's not what this is about

Unfortunately I had the boxes for several of my games and systems, but they had been put on the roof on my parents house.
My mom was cleaning the roof at one point, and she threw them in the trash...

Actually think it is a Japan only model? Might be wrong on that one.
But it problably is the coolest looking pocket ever made
Got it of Ebay if I remember correctly. Don't remember price exactly, but it is possible to find one.

 

I also think that it is a Japanese exclusive, not sure too. But yes, it looks so cool ! I think I will try to get one haha.

It is a little piece from the Nintendo Game Boy campaign in the early 90's.
They where produced in different colors, but the grey one is by far the best looking one.
I have a UK and A Italian version, still in box! A fun and nice little collectors item
