    Is there any way .ADX (CRI ADX) sound files from certain Dreamcast games can be decoded to play individual sounds.

    For ex:

    ====================================================
    Music.adx (A trumpet & a saxophone are being played)

    --> Decode it so that one sound stream is playing the trumpet, another is playing the saxphone part & you can hear each instrument separately.
    ====================================================

    I've read that the Sega Dreamcast uses 64-sound channels, so do the .ADX sound files use the sound channels as well? (Not to get confused with the Mono/Stereo channels)

    64? I thought it was more like 6. ADX is a multi-channel compression technology, each channel is 44/22/11KHz PCM, no synth. If you have an algorithm to isolate your instruments from a Windows WAVE, then you could theoretically do it to your ADX.

    Wow, I never knew there was such that could isolate instruments from a Windows WAVE. What programs do that?

    I haven't a clue, maybe you can do it manually with Cool Edit or Audition.

    I'm guessing Adobe Audition?
