Hello, everyone, my 1st thread

I would like to know sth about the euro 666 PS2:

    1. What is the reasonable price for a JP 666 PS2 in mint condition?
    2. Of all five colors, do they have equal value? If not, which color is more valuable?
    3. Is this console numbered?
    4. Is this consoles 30000 based? or 35000? or 50000?

Thank you for giving me an answer! *^_^*

    Answers as best I can:

    1) There are a few on yahoo japan for around 500-odd US dollars, complete in box. This is a bit higher than what they've been fetching on eBay for complete new condition ones, but they're far, far cheaper if not boxed. They all came with a matching colour vertical stand, so make sure yours comes with it too.

    2) In my expereince of US versions, the red ones are worth more (one sold on eBay recently for 2000-plus dollars brand new unopened, but not sure if it was a scam....). The yellow and blue ones are worth not so much, and the white and silver rarely come up, so I'm guessing somewhere in the middle. Silver would probably be cheap given there are lots of silver (satin silver mind you) PS2s floating around.

    3) The consoles have a serial number which reflects their build (for example, US versions are SCPH-30001R, with serial numbers ending in a number up to 666)

    4) The console is SCPH-30000 based.
