well.... I accadently set my xbox to 720p when I ment to set it to 480p. My TV dosent support 720 so when I restart my xbox it boots the green screen then it goes spastic. Wavey lines everywhere and you cant make out a thing. I cant see shit, so theres no way to change it back. I tryed hooking it up with composite cables and it works fine but when I went into the video settings to change it back it removed them because it knew the cable wouldnt support them. So now I cant use the xbox. Is there a way to fix this other then hooking it to a TV that supports 720 and changing it back? Please tell me there is... Any help would be super lol. ray:
why dont you go to the menu with your composite cable, then connect the component cable and change it?
can you do that!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im gonna try it and hopefully it wont switch over on me. God I hope this works. Thanks for the idea. I will edit this post and let you know if it works or not. Nope it didnt work. The way I have it hooked up is the composite cables goto the front of the TV while my componet cables (HD) run to the componet in on the back of the TV. So when I unplugged and switched them it instantly went retarded and I had to hit the input button my remote to switch to it. So im going to need some other idea.
