Found this disc amoung the rubble and poped it into the PC

The video doesn't work.

 

It works, it's just very distorted, almost to the point of being artistic.

 

Hmm I wonder if this could be for the Saturn. Perhaps that is why the picture is distorted on the PC.

 

That would make a difference if you used a Saturn Cinipak player. I watch Saturn video files on my PC quite a bit.

 

Ohh I see. Just play this and you can tell its the part where the "lasers" carve the name of the game.

 

Yeah, probably a cinepak .avi from Iron Man X/O Manowar.

The Saturn game uses Cinepack video compression format and files have a .cpk extension. Maybe you have a Duck True motion (another type of video compression format used on Saturn) .AVI test file as it is named IMDUKAUD.AVI ("I am a Duck" is a way how Duck TM files are marked).

Or it could be a PSX video file, but I don't know how the videos were coded on the PSX version of this game.

 

Iron Man X-O Manowar in Heavy Metal is a cool game.
